Counselling Support for Veterans in Saskatoon
You do not have to explain everything at once. Lorraine offers a place to begin a conversation about what you have been carrying and whether her support is the right fit.

Some experiences are difficult to leave behind when the day is over.
Trauma, triggers, sleep problems, anger, and pressure can affect daily life and the people closest to you. Reaching out can feel uncomfortable, especially when you are used to handling things yourself.
You can begin with a phone conversation. Lorraine will listen, answer practical questions, and discuss whether the service is appropriate for what you need before a meeting is arranged.
Lorraine’s connection
Personal familiarity, approached with care.
Lorraine has veterans in her personal life and has seen the difficulties that people may continue to carry. She wants veterans to know that reaching out for support is an available option.
“You are never alone in dealing with a difficult situation.”
Lorraine ScottWhat you can discuss
Start with what is affecting life now.
Difficult or traumatic experiences
Talk about experiences that continue to feel present, difficult to process, or disruptive.
Triggers and sleep concerns
Discuss patterns that interfere with rest, concentration, or daily routines.
Anger and emotional pressure
Explore a different way to understand and respond to anger without reducing you to the problem.
Confidence and self-esteem
Work on rebuilding confidence and a stronger sense of self after difficult experiences.
What happens first
Call, leave a message, and Lorraine will return your call the same day.
The first conversation is for information and fit. Meeting format and location are worked out with you. This practice is not affiliated with Veterans Affairs Canada and does not promise coverage or a particular outcome.
